How to request deletion of your data from Petnyang

Petnyang stores no photos, videos, or voice on our servers. The data we keep is anonymous usage statistics — an install identifier, a one-way hashed device identifier, the app version, and country — and, if you use AI chat, your chat-credit balance and its transaction history. Your chat messages themselves are not stored on our servers. You can ask us to delete this at any time.

What data we hold

• Install identifier and hashed device identifier (a one-way hash — we cannot recover your real device ID from it)
• App version and country
• Chat-credit balance and transaction history, if you use the AI chat feature (tied to your hashed device identifier). Your chat messages themselves are not stored.

Your pets, actions, photos, videos, and settings are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them; they are never sent to us.

How to request deletion

1. Open Petnyang and go to Settings. At the bottom you will find your Device No. (a 7-digit number).
2. Email support@petnyang.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include your Device No.
3. We will delete the matching record from our analytics database and confirm by reply, within 30 days.

Note

Because the device identifier we store is anonymized (one-way hashed), the Device No. from your app’s Settings is what lets us locate and delete the correct record. If you have already uninstalled the app, contact us and we will help identify and remove your data.
